A quick look at SYM and there is already another proposal on the table from Superloop/Bevan Slattery. This could turn into a bidding war. As for why, maybe Aussie is simply wanting to cock block Bevan from getting these assets, or it could possibly be more accretive to the current business. SYM does have a bit more presence in south East Asia.
