Private equity & Australian super fund consortium. Price isn't over the top though I think. This is a smart move by them, few people have talked about SIQ being a pick for the 'reopening trade' but it is & it's one of few where the price hasn't (or hadn't) jumped. Perfect private equity target (capital light/high ROE/scaleable). The Board are smart too I think in opening the books, the industry still has opportunity for amalgamation & this might be the catalyst for that too. There's a chance of MMS making a merger approach or another buyout firm.
