    this is what tends to happen when shorting is allowed and you have a weak currency and a poorly managed stock ( or poor reputation) - the tendency for shorting to be allowed, especially by big institutions, means that many of our stocks tend to get to undervalued levels - the only way to get the value is then by takeover
