This is an interesting deal for sure. I don’t necessarily mind SOL paying in shares because the SP is fully valued to say the least at the moment. They also did the Milton deal when the SP was in the high 30s. Just a thought perhaps they actually only want to build up to a strategic stake between 30 and 40 percent and can’t get there without making a full takeover bid? They did something similar on a much smaller scale with Hunter Hall and then merged it into Pengana which they’ve got around 40 percent of.
