Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps the Winfield action can be particularly helpful for demolishing Golden's theft attempt. Surely very few shareholders will agree to anything from Golden while another outfit is ostensibly offering an above-market price. Maybe Winfield can stay around long enough that SMR can see off Golden, then shareholders get to vote on a Winfield bid. From where we were with Golden not very long ago, that would be a very good outcome. And if the Winfield bid price goes up enough, I might even accept it (we're talking not too far from $2).
