IMO Tiger B. needs to be very careful of how he handles the "Uranium" issue with the Donald project, given the emotional response that can be expected these reports from the Aussie "No Nukes!" lobby. I'd be consulting with a good PR/strategy/lobbying firm before responding!

I'm pretty sure there are bans on Uranium mining in Victoria, NSW, QLD and most probably Tassie and the ACT and the feds have only currently licenced Ranger and Olympic Dam UO2/Yellowcake exports.

Trying to argue logically with these no nuke numpties that we already exporting traces of U with all our monazite and mineral sand concentrates exports and that it is currently being dumped, along with lots of thorium the tails post cracking, as per LYC in Malaysia until Kalgoorlie C&L is commissioned (or possibly being reprocessed into U & Th in China?), or that we would be contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by providing what is essentially a free source of U to a friend and allied nation (would the US still be considered "friendly" under Trump by Australia's progressive elite?) won't wash with the hard core anti nuke lobby, who will be pressing every emotional button available (pictures of children with radiation burns post Hiroshima...) and co-opting every disgruntled farmer within a weeks ride of Donald with tales of "ruin and woe and two headed sheep" if his neighbours don't shut the gate on Donald.

What could shape up to a big win/win for ATR/UUUU and Australia is in the balance here, let's not f**k it up!
