Just for clarity....(and also to check that I am not misreading it, - as I did also misread it initially and thought it was referring to the merger vote...).
All this says is the meeting will be held to extend the date by which the deal is done by (Aug 8). Nothing about date when merger voting will happen.
But then it does go on to say that it will also release proxy materials when it advises the new date and time for the meeting.....
The meeting will need to be held before February 8, to be able to extend the deal consummation date.
So ...just thinking logically....if the meeting has to happen before Feb 8, they will probably need to advise a week or two before the actual new meeting date, so we should hear something in the next week or two?
And with the new meeting date....proxy materials will be filed, which I can only assume is referring to the merger vote.
So we should know the date of the merger vote in the next couple of weeks..... is my interpretation anyway.....
