ILA is now an armed forces vertical market biotech, specializing in troop remote placement disease exposure mitigation.
That's where the funding is! (DoD etc)
Good for BioCryst and good for ILA ... a new model of development for drugs that have passed S1 for a company (ILA) with access to the US military, for big pharma who would otherwise pass up such specialist applications.
Very exciting from my perspective - let's hope they can progress ILA101 to grow their DoD credibility to continue the development of Galidesivir.
