In the past, Summit arranged something like $50 million dollars to be invested into KP2 by SQM and the Oman Sovereign Wealth Fund. The funds went towards completing the Feasibility Study.

The Summit Consortium is the group of companies that came together to make this deal happen.

Summit are not mentioned in the announcement because the announcement is about the specific details of the Term Sheet Agreement, and the Term Sheet Agreement is with OWI-RAMS.
