Anyway, you have proven my point, so thank you. LIFX is marketed as a "plug and play", straight from your existing wifi router. But it doesn't work reliably because you will need to upgrade your network hardware if you want to run a smart-light system. When a product doesn't work the way you have been told it will, you won't buy anymore and you might even leave a negative product review online...
