To even things up. I was at dinner in the Cap S (Captian Stirling) on Monday and Ken Brisden was at a table with two mining guys I half recognized in a largely empty salon bar. Ken, MD of Plibabra Minerals who has built it up from say 50m to $1B is a highly decent (my word for ethical) guy and a Captain of Industry. He was quite approachable to me making comments when washing my hands (in the toilet*) at AMEC a few years ago. He was then 2IC of Atlas. Perth is still a small town.
* Yeah my mate finds situations like that a font of jokes on me for years. Especially, a similar incident when Kerr Neilsen said 'I won't shake your hand".
