I certainly don't think ASIC know the ramifications of Ethical. They want everyone to be that but have a look at the situation Shipton and a number of their other staff. Of course their defence is - their mandate comes form politicians and I'm pretty sure even if your book was compulsory reading with an allied compulsory exam (which they readily demanded of advisers) for them (politicians) it wouldn't make make difference.

I guess that's why investing successfully or indeed making accumulating money decently is incredibly hard. You probably have the talent -I maybe not.
