Yes, it could be complex, but we have no idea what NEU plus interested party have as their non-negotiable. Just because they want to deal, it doesn't follow that they'll definitely get a deal they're willing to take. Plenty of scope for an impasse.
If a high-five kind of agreement was about to happen, why wouldn't Hancox stick around for a few weeks and enjoy a victory lap? Just wondering.
