    I don’t follow your argument on this.

    The trench water level is so far below ground level for two reasons imo.
    1. The surface aquifer water level is naturally/seasonally low or
    2. The trench is being pumped harder than it can refill.


    Is the trench shown by BF representative of all the trenches at LW?
