Mark, If you dont understand something this simple (and we all have to start somewhere) then I strongly suggest you get your backside down to the library & get some books out.
You need to learn as much as you can about both fundamental analysis & technical analysis, otherwise you are sitting at a table in the casino.
By the way, a letter will be sent to you explaining the offer with definitions of all the terminology used.
Rule no 1 with speculative stocks is to protect your capital, loosing 50% is a lot more painful than the pleasure gaining 50%
