Recently, it took us about 9 months – from the first meeting with the client, to finally getting the go-ahead on a new website project. I now think of what KPO is needing to do to get the go-ahead on their $$$$$$$ project(s). It's a thousand times more complex and financially intricate. And that's just the negotiation stage, not even considering what happens next.
So if my company did our best to move a relatively-small project along, and it still took us 9 months, then I'm willing to give KPO the benefit if the doubt that they are still doing their best to get the opportunities across the line.
Until we get news that the Crusoe deal has died, we have to assume we are still heading in the right direction. In the meantime, how we manage our own perceptions and expectations is, of course, totally up us.
