I agree with your diesel comments...
It should definately be part of any future TOU expansion plan...
Problem is it would be depended on several factors out of their control... (ie existing diesel contracts, vested interests, government approvals, power station conversion)...
IMO, in the short term, they need to focus with what is in their control... The existing local Bots power market is 300Mw short... And if they can supply that market fully then the Southern African Power Pool demand is huge ( and will get worse as ESKOM implodes)...
