If someone is trying to steal this at lows, they may gain a greater shareholding because the sp collapse seen by retail would guess at shadows in the closet, inspire doubt , as not understanding what has transpired.
Market makers can push a price one way or the other, with an agenda. Sometimes depress to accumulate, sometimes to prop to distribute.
The company needs to illuminate the two investors. A webinar meet and greet?. While if that 3rd JV is for El Pillar and other projects afterwards, it would be better to introduce them sooner, or could one of them agree to underwrite this rights issue and come on board as a strategic early on. That is the confidence bearing material, which the retail need to offset the doubt created by the unseen hand. Which would bring more retail to participate.
Same could be said for the off take finance, MOU.
