And it remains a wager, a bet on NS off take finance, to return the sunshine. Then the company will be able to redeem itself. Actions beget confidence. And excuses seen or unforeseen, erode it.
Everything is a bet. On where we are (MC), to what is the prize (re rate value) if delivered, Vs the chances of success.
Market confidence is applied to the discount of the RISK on wager, V the prize (risk off).
A poor market confidence, leads to low MC and a higher return multiple on success.
But it is also a market in doubt that provides warning to those placing bets.
Understanding the market confidence, how we got to where we are, is important to decide if it is applicable to the deliverable probability.
