Ewokker,interesting way too look at and I think it IS worth doing the numbers IF you have a big holding.
Maybe the risk factor comes in to, as to buy the three now you have spent your dollar,risk taken.
If the s/p does rises above the .025 then the gamble pays off, no risk and then stump up the money.
if you take the option option and it doesnt hit .025 you only lose 1 share not two (or three) ???
