Yes, Graphite stock share prices are lagging. What is hard for people to envisage is what the world will be like in 5 to 10 years’ time! The switch to battery power has been an enormous upheaval and disruption to the conventional thinking of coal fired power stations and vehicles running on petrol or diesel.

What Tesla has achieved in just 11 years is phenomenal! In 2008 it began production of the Roadster, then in 2013 the Model S, 2016 the model X, 2017 the model 3 and 2020 the model Y. Then there is the Tesla Semi truck which will also be a game changer and coming soon!

It is hard to comprehend what Tesla has achieved in such short time! Now all the other major car companies are in catch up mode, trying to produce their own evs as quickly as possible.

What people haven't factored in, is the future of owner driving evs and self-driving evs, especially in the ride sharing sector. That market is going to be massive, with just one company, DiDi, is expecting to be using 10 million evs by 2028! Plus, there will be millions of other evs produced by the large car makers by 2028. Then there are the huge batteries needed for the trucks, the ferries, the grid battery storage units, the home and business storage units and other uses.

The battery demand is going to be phenomenal, and as long as Graphite is still used for those batteries, then the future does look bright for the Graphite mining companies! And the sooner VRC gets its mine up and running the better!
