You have two choices to deal with dilution.
1. Participate in the CR to support the company.
2. Buy more shares on market at some point in the future.
I don't think we want the CR to be underwritten. Why? Because an underwriter has no interest in accumulating shares. They will dump the shares on market, either just after the CR or over a period of time. Depending on how desperate the underwriter is to get out, it could keep a cap on the SP, preventing any significant rise in the SP for some time or they could immediately start dumping & drive the SP down. Right now, I think it's better if WIN falls short on some of the cash, but who knows, it might be an over-subscribed CR, I don't know.
If the nickel & lithium price rebounds significantly the SP could recover & another CR could be completed at a higher price in the future.
In saying all that, I thought this was an interesting statement. Perhaps WIN might have plans for a neighbouring tenement? I wonder what the BOD are thinking about. Copper? Gold? From memory, I think another entity has rights to gold on some of the WIN tenements. Perhaps WIN could buy them out?
Management is taking one for the team.
