Just one point: You say, “No Aus geothermal company anywhere has signed a PPA.” My understanding is that KEN is the exception with its production agreement with the Vanuatu Government. Not strictly a PPA, I suppose, but it has all Gov. approvals on very good terms. The matter of landowner approvals is still outstanding, though - “well advanced” or words to that effect. (As we know, landowner negotiations can be problematic in the Pacific.)
I note that funds will be used in part for “... Site access works, drilling of temperature holes and production well design costs … in Vanuatu.” Previously Ken has said that it will not go ahead with this till the project approvals and agreements have been finalised.
Still not sure that I’ll be taking up my entitlement, especially if the SP stays below .015c but I’ll be holding my existing investment.
