They certainly didn't state that EM u/g is finishing in the last quarterly so I expect it has a bit of life left although not sure how much.
I'm guessing that the whole dynamic of what they are doing will change with the gold price. RMS are relatively conservative though so if they go ahead then I would be expecting it's a good decision.
With gold in a bull market then if this continues as expected then you would have to think we would be hitting $4k AUD or more. IF they were talking about it at $2.6k then surely it's a goer with a 50% price increase.
