Wouldn't that be a sight!? However, the Wises Pit (upper) is the destination for this dewatering. The plan involves increasing storage volume of the Wises Pit (upper), and dewater Eldridge Pit (lower) to create and provide access to the tailrace outlet. The Wises Pit storage capacity will continue to increase to store up to ~25 GL of water, at various stages of construction. A small percentage (2-5%) will be treated, diluted, and safely discharged into the Copperfield River.
