As far as ESS is concerned,the Novo connection is the gold bearing gravels at Kadina. I suspect that Novo has not been able to negotiate a satisfactory agreement with the "first nations people" who hold a blocking title on any mining lease. They have a reputation of being feral and already one mining company has surrendered leases in the area because of the impossibility of getting a satisfactory result from negotiations. Novo will not spend further money on the area till they have a binding agreement. See what the woke cost you.
