Glad to see an updated presentation to see more clearly where things are at, seems like this updates us with the forward planning for the rest of the year and there is quite a bit planned. Hopefully the presentation yesterday went well and buying will continue and that they have generated interest to keep them busy during the remainder of the event.
More than a few things worth mentioning, but I think I'll start on slide 12
IF (yes that's a big if) the lode continues over an area of 2,000m x 600m which the company is suggesting it may.
Considering the prior mined portion of
200m x 150m = 55,000oz (historical data)
The displaced lode has been projected to likely cover
300m x 200m = 110,000oz ***assuming the same grades/widths/continuity of the mined portion over this entire portion
Fieldwork is suggesting this zone may cover
2000m x 600m = 2,200,000oz ***assuming the same grades/widths/continuity of the mined portion over this entire portion
Serious potential for over 2Moz high grade gold without factoring in any copper or further exploration upside from the surrounds.
Plus currently drilling into a porphyry target directly underneath. If this was to hit then everything probably goes out the window in a good way, but good to know there isn't a reliance on it needing to show a solid hit and it has cost nothing to drill due to the government grant anyway.
I'd be keen for management to try get the initial zone into some form of production within the next 6 or so months (yes this is probably ambitious, but hey strike while conditions are great) with my thinking being the cashflow from this alone over the initial 12 or so months could potentially be enough to account for the current market cap which would give them more cashflow than they would need to aggressively fund exploration for years.
But if this extension can start to be proved quickly, which from slide 16 we can see preparation for a new exploration drive to aid in accessing high grade shoots into the south of the extension which improves drilling economics significantly, so it's already been planned. With them awaiting to pounce they can begin this on approval of the surrounding MLA to ML which may be near. Then this could quickly start to become a decently sized story in itself. Perhaps even changing the negotiation dynamics regarding the processing if they start to show significant extensions, going from maybe 100koz to showing multiples more.
From slide 18 (July 8 Ann) there is also clearly further exploration potential on the surrounds, with a distinct cluster of high grade samples around 4km direct south of the mine that catch my attention. As these are stream samples and don't appear to be too far from the beginning of the stream/s, it gives a small area to be targeting where it has come from.
And all of the above is only accounting for a fraction of the exploration potential as a whole (see slide 25, the above image barely covers the 2 orange dots towards the middle in the image below). Surely management are licking their lips at the prospect of having near term cashflow providing years of aggressive exploration.
