What you fail to appreciate here is Nic is on a leash.. and his “boss” is Macquarie bank as it is their money he is spending. They won’t allow discretionary spend on exploration/other projects outside approved limits until they’ve been repaid and there will be agreements to this nature in the debt contracts.
