This sheen under UV light is called cut and the colour of the cut indicates the quality of the oil. Pale blue-white is high gravity (light) oil, yellow is medium gravity, and orange-brown for low gravity (heavy) oil.

The shows in the 136 metre zone today, note 136 metre, were strong blue white flourescence which denotes Specific gravity, 45 degree, light "commercially valuable" oil.
