re: Ann: North Perth Basin Heavy Mineral Stud... I think the minerals sand industry has been put on its ear by a person who has been called the best explorationalist in the country by many of his peers and brokers. He has applied his skills after many years of experience in the gold, base metals, diamonds, iron ore sectors and has applied hiself to mineral sands over the last ten years with huge success.
He has had setbacks as some have realised with Opes yet he still remains focussed and has been working furiously and given the number of targets totalling 300km in length(with a good proportion being mineralsed), he is moving in to define the next round of high grade resources. Lets just face the facts that resources are No.1 and the Chinese are courting Image and potentially Magnetic Resources For its iron ore.
Some already know that due to Mines Dept. red tape all targets haven't been drilled in the past. The next targets which will be tested shortly include Cooljarloo East, Gingin ,Bidaminna and numerous others. The Channel areas will be revisited after a long hiatus as well. By the way he has been buying stock as he is committed to the cause and must be very confident of suucess. The story has gone to the point that the tradional producers are wondering where and when is the next discovery.
This is the real point forget about the past, the future is behind Image and his accompanying companies Magnetic Emu and Meteoric for the next round of discoveries. They are all cashed up and individually are drilling and testing on all fronts. There projects are first class and they will ultimately be testing and defining new resources as well as Image . So don't worry about the grumbling people they will be left behind and lament there poor judgement.
