Why do you think there was a desperate money grab now? @Clark888 They are in commercial talks with SIMEC and they should have enough left on their credit facility to last until later this year.
So why give up 20% of the cash owed to them, 25% of the royalty payment, 100% of the guaranteed quarterly royalty payment, 100% of the excess (above JORC) copper royalty, move the final large cash payment back to probably 2021 and give CMC 3-year exclusive exploration rights around North Portia.
My personal thoughts are CMC did not deliver on the data for permitting and Radford had HAV over a barrel.
