Yes, China (& their subsidiary Myanmar) produce 94% of the world's DyTb, but only 74% NdPr. Because Lynas and Mountain Pass produce almost negligible amounts of DyTb. Huge supply chain risk for the West for DyTb! Also, while China crank up their production quotas to destroy the rare earth pricing (and discourage Western projects coming online), they are effectively cranking up their main mine Bayan Obo which is mainly NdPr! The data suggests China is actually running out of DyTb production, hence the shift to exploiting Myanmar in the last 5 years. How long with their control of Myanmar DyTb production last I wonder?
Projects like MEI are very NdPr heavy, VTM might have higher Dy and Tb grades than MEI in the next MRE update. You want to be developing a project that complements the Western giants Lynas and Mountain Pass..
