I can't help but think this was a knee jerk reaction by CE - Something prompted him, was it the share prices, another party/s interest, resource size, rig booking or other ???
Not sure ? But being an all script offer if MIN's SP continues to fall as many are forecasting someone is gonna have some egg on their face come early January!
Just have the feeling there is much more going on behind the scene.
We wait and look forward to a rig announcement and I don't think even CE would be able to stall the booking, definitely not without cost and that would be a self-indulgent act that would be a huge disadvantage to all concerned - MIN, NWE, other operators & the rig owners. So if that's the case maybe that booking is very soon, hope so it would be fantastic timing for NWE.
Hold on all, as this gets more interesting, and as it does so does the SP.
