Aussie, I am no expert on the matter but I understand that apps can be developed in IOS and implemented without App Store approval.

For example my son in his school years learnt how to write apps and he made one for me to keep my passwords. I asked him to develop one that allowed me to copy the username and password so I could paste them in website forms because I’m a lazy bastard. He programmed it and sent me a link via SMS and that let me install it and use it. Ie no App Store involvement.

Therefore it is not inconceivable that NOR could do something similar with clients in a pilot I imagine.

That is issue the product to the users before it is available on the App Store.

Rider clause: I can’t remember if my son had to get some form of approval first but I think not.
