Gas is king in todays' environment. Victoria and NSW have plans submitted to build gas import facilities because the communist Victorian govt shut down all gas exploration and development with the full knowledge that 2 Bass Strait gas fields will be shut down by 2024. NSW is not far behind in stupidity. Someone in Victoria (or elsewhere) has convinced that govt. that the gas shortage will cause a major disaster if it's not rectified so they've decided to allow exploration again. While this is a great plus for the likes of AJQ it's too late to avert the shortage. There's not enough pipeline capacity to supply Victoria and NSW and in any event, not enough gas presently being produced. Small producers such as AJQ and Central Petroleum are ramping up and increasing production as quick as they can but this will not overcome the impending predicted shortage. I believe this situation makes the shares in AJQ ( and any other mainly gas producer) unbelievably undervalued. Also this coronavirus lockdown madness has to cease before collateral damage become unrepairable.
