You nailed it, exactly what I was asking myself. Dr Google advises me that 'In finance, redemption describes the repayment of a fixed-income security—such as a Treasury note, certificate of deposit, or bond—on or before its maturity date.'
So can this be seen as a positive in the lines of an early repayment of a loan?
