    · Why the change?
    We surmise a number of factors had been brewing that led to the Spill:
    1) JMS not increasing interest in Tshipi;
    2) No M&A or organic growth;
    3) Absence of strong Director and Investor Relations presence in Australia; and
    4) Lack of marketing Mn’s role as battery metal given burgeoning EV demand.

    1) Thought this was not feasible under the current BEE agreement ?
    2) Unless you can move the Mn price upwards yourself, there is no urgent need for increased output / growth. Selling more for an even lower price.
    3) Well these assets are still 100% (since the Juno spin-off) in SA. That's a given and not sure if a stronger IR presence in Australia would help here.
    4) High-purity manganese products (HPM) required for EV requires processing which is not something Jupiter does/can do.
