The AFR had the following quite by MisRes CFO about the AZS share sale today:
“MinRes chief financial officer Mark Wilson said the company saw an opportunity to sell its Azure stake and “executed for certainty”.
What does “executed for certainty” imply? If the AZS $3,70 bid was in the bag why would you sell now? Could they wait for 2mo this? Does that imply there is a risk the bid will be pulled?
I do not understand what MinRes are doing - it’s definitely not profitable for them.
