For IRD, Cape size vessel capacity at the Cape Hardy port gives them the Infrastructure to enable mine production. Without it, IRD have long known that getting capital to proceed would be difficult, even though they have a massive amount of high grade resource, which will increasingly be in demand. China’s games won’t matter, there will be many markets particularly if IRD goes down the partial pellet production route using hydrogen available on site, supplied by H2U.
As you said, the foreseeable values are immense. Noting that a Director is $50k out of pocket after buying 200k of shares on market in July 21, and the company paying $1m for an additional 24 hectares since, you would expect that there is a reasonable chance of a positive financial close decision, sooner than later. That will be one step closer, and hats off to IRD for recognising that the only way forward for this huge outcome was to go down the multi user, multi commodity path as the Eyre Peninsula is full of a huge amount of other in demand resources still in the ground/undeveloped.
Not ramping, I too prefer it that way. Only the facts. Fact is, how are you going to get some of these shares when the ball starts rolling, as there are not many retail shares on offer ?
