Be interesting to see how the voting goes.

I'm not one to try and orchestrate change from the sidelines. Not a cop out just accepting that If I don't like whats going on trying to change it is a waste of my time and energy.

I like the way VMT are managed , the strategic direction they are taking, their focus on profit and the fact that the two Executive directors and the Chinese director back the company by wanting to be paid in shares instead of cash.

I think public companies are bound by way too much red tape and as a result have far too many resolutions that they have to deal with.

When the US president Woodrow Wilson was asked how long it took him to write a speech, he said:

“That depends on the length of the speech.

If it is a 10-minute speech it takes me all of two weeks to prepare it; if it is a half-hour speech it takes me a week;

if I can talk as long as I want to, it requires no preparation at all. I am ready now.”

Politicians should be trained – as every debater is – to know that a good speech should be as long as a young woman’s skirt: short enough to keep people interested, long enough to cover the bare essentials.
