If this company is a bad joke, why not sell up and invest elsewhere?
I understand you'd be selling at a loss, and you probably won't get much for your shares, but even if it's $1000, you could potentially make money on that elsewhere.
Why keep it here if it's going nowhere and is a bad company like you say? Better to take whatever money is left instead of losing it all.
Unless you actually think that this company can take off and don't want to miss out on the big gains? If that's the case, I can see why you're still holding
