The Australian Shareholders' Association recommendations as to how to vote are typically available two weeks before the date of an AGM for a company that it monitors. It covers GNC. I had thought it would publicise recommendations earlier.
As I intend to mail my form back to Link Market Services as soon as Australia Post delivers it to my residence, my inclination, like the others, after again reading the whole document, is to vote 'NO' in respect of Resolutions 4(a) and 4(b).
I don't like voting electronically on the day of the AGM as it's easy to be doing something else and to be unable to 'attend' virtually.
I will endeavour to post a precis of what the ASA says once it makes up its mind. It does a good job representing retail shareholders which is why I am a member.
