all the grain merchants are playing the game at present -if the CBOT market goes up we hardly see the difference -futures are very strong and I believe the dollar went up a little - but I have seen it quite a few days where the Oz grain (wheat mainly- not so much sorghum) prices dont move much at all, even when dollar stable and futures up -they have got a good basis alright -mainly for themselves!! futures go down and we see the drops!

I get a couple of texts nearly every day -especially when the price is down -when the price is or should be up, I dont seem to get texts !! Every other year it is often the opposite -if price dropping you dont get many texts, and if they have a good price they want to trumpet it - I guess there is capacity constraints at port etc so they are keeping it pretty tight!
