    Most companies seem to do it before the market opens for the day, and on the day. A popular time seems to be around 0820 hours (AEDT at present).

    For 2019-20, looking it up on 'HC', GNC announced on 15 January 2020 that its AGM would be at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney on 19 February 2020, commencing at 1000 hours.

    At respectively 0837, 0838 and 0839 hours on that day, GNC's Chairman's Address, CEO Presentation and AGM Presentation were made available on 'HC', so that was about 80 minutes prior to the meeting's commencement.
