I doubt Kirkwood deliberately ran the company into a position that has wiped out so much shareholddr equity and capital, so why believe him now when he has been so wrong about AVX's assets and strategic direction in the past? They were wrong about pharmaceutical assets and wrong about coal mining assets...not a great track record! Performance of the business under his watch has been woeful!
