The previous operators of the mine were planning on spending a paltry 20 million dollars on building an electric smelter at Ta Khao which would have eliminated the export tax (there would be other ways to get around the tax as well). How much of the $60m from the raise did BSX lose on its bad investments in other explorers? Wasted. Gambled.
