Geez James, why don't you exercise your democratic right and vote against the remuneration report ... the result may not be immediate but every board will take notice of a first strike. Oh, that's right you're not a shareholder.
Performance rights/options are better for shareholders than cash, sign on fees or shares and mean zilch if Mr Campbell does not fulfill his employment contract and leave prematurely. The only performance rights currently existing are 2.5M to Paula and 2M to Paige. All other performance rights have lapsed. I'm happy to see performance rights than cash or shares. Cash and/or shares only means existing resources reward the short term.
What we should be concentrating on is the cash component of his contract: $400K per annum salary is too much considering where the company has been, something like $250K with 6 months notice and performance rights is more appropriate.
