I wonder if you read the whole AGM agenda?
There is a proposal to grant an extra 1m. options to Ian Finch, and 0.5m each to two other directors.
The reason? - 'to provide incentive to Mr Finch'
He already owns 3.5m heads and 4.1m options. It seems that these are not enough incentice for him to get out of bed in the mornings and run the company. He need another 1m. options to get fully motivated.
It seems to me that Mr Finch is motivated by good old fashioned greed, rather than the interests of the company and shareholders.
