Although i would have thought the way they would go about it would be to announce a potential acqusition which would likely push up the price before going ahead with the placement or cap raising. Pretty sure thats the way PXR went about it. (Side note In all this small cap turmoil, PXR holding firm)
Reckon the directors are giving themselves the option to take a stake which would be at a discount to the then current SP anyway.
My thinking is that its easier to extract money when you have a good prospect.
Another side note, funny trade today, sold into .013 then a small order placed directly after at .014 keeping the SP steady. Most of those earlier sell orders under .2 have left for the time being. Maybe im jumping at shadows although i do get the suspicion that they are getting close to something.
