Funny, I have done a lot of history and your objections are the same that stood in the way of democracy for ages.Only land owners should have the vote and the general population is corrupt etc etc.

"It would be open to corruption and meeting stacking". And what do you think happens now? It is already corrupt and stacked. Who votes on behalf of the institutions? Do they go back to their investors and ask for a vote on the vote?

Why is it that when somebody suggests reform people always attack them on "what may go wrong", ignoring that it is already wrong?

Let us take the case of what we are trying to achieve here. We will get defeated because the large holders will not vote it down. So something that is sensible will not pass bacause of a few share holders.

These are public companies. We invest our money and give Directors responsibilty of running them. We do run them. Anybody who wants to have "control" should invest in private companies.

And by the way, the 90% wealth destruction that has happened here hurts us individuals who don't get a say, than those who vote on behalf of institutions. It is our money!
